Commissioning a portrait from a photo is very exciting and here
is a little advice on how to start.
Firstly, pick one or more photographs of the subject(s) you would
like to be painted. Don't worry about the background of your photo - the important part is that the subject you would
like painted is as you would like. I can change backgrounds etc. at the painting stage. If you are not sure what to choose,
just gather a selection of pictures and I will work with you to decide on the best ones to use for painting a portrait.
If you would like more than one figure in you picture, they do not need to be in the same photograph to be in the
same painting

Secondly, bring your photos along to me so we can discuss size and style and then
leave the rest to me. If you prefer, you can email your digital images.
