Sue Bagshaw Portraits & Murals

I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, doing animal portraits and landscapes. I have a degree in Textiles and Design and worked in printed textiles and graphic design for many years. I have studied Interior Design with the OCA, Botanical Painting, Pottery, Silk Painting, Mural Design and Professional Paint Finishes at the National Design Academy.

My work falls, mainly, into two areas - commission portraits and murals - although I enjoy other challenges such as designing bespoke canvas art to match your room and even 'portraits' of other things such as buildings.

For my portraits, working from photographs, I work mainly in pencil, watercolour and acrylic, paying great attention to detail in order to truly capture the character of my subjects.

I work closely with clients to find the perfect format for the subject or subjects - be it a pencil sketch or a painting, a head and shoulders' image or a depiction of a favourite family photo.

Prices start at £60 for a portrait and £150 for a mural
